I take my family here regularly. The food is amazing every time we go. Great that I can have curry and rice and the kids can have great pizza. I even take a pizza home for myself every time. Great service and always friendly staff. Wish I lived closer, I'd be there even more often!!!
We eat takeout from here regularly and it is consistently great. The salmon last night was cooked perfectly and so crispy. The owners work very hard to give the town of Carstairs great food and we definitely appreciate it.
We had an amazing meal at the Urban Eatery! We tried the chicken korma and the veggie wrap. Both were fresh, made with care, and super tasty! Looking forward to a return visit, so many great choices on the menu. Thanks!!
We are regular customers now for 1.5 years. We love the gluten-free options, which makes it fun for us to eat out and try new things. Lately, we have been enjoying the dinners with mashed potatoes and veggies. We usually get takeout because of our schedules. The prices are reasonable and we're happy to support a family-run business.
Stopped in at the recommendation of a friend in Olds. My daughter and I split the butter chicken poutine. It was so good we would drive from Calgary for it. We then had 2 pizzas (canadian and funghi w / creamy truffle) and they were both excellent. Good sauce to topping proportion and crust! Pretty sure the front end host was the son and mom was cooking - it was really good! Glad we stopped in. Will be back!
I want to give a big shout-out to The Urban Eatery. I had my birthday party there on Sunday afternoon. There were 18 of us and everyone raved about how good their meals were. The service we received from Maduwanthi and Nelson was excellent and Hennayoke must have been on fire in that kitchen to get so many (and such a variety) of meals out in time. It is such a cosy venue and could have accommodated at least another dozen people. If you are looking for a spot to hold a party or a dinner meeting...... Thank you Urban Eatery for helping my birthday celebration be so enjoyable
We were in Carstairs for wedding and had several hours to kill so we got some lunch at Urban Eatery and...wow! From the outside and even when you first wall in you would think this would be more of a dive, with food that was was meh, but we were proven completely wrong! I ordered the Turkey and Brie sandwhich and my husband had a burger. Presentation alone sold us, but the taste was even better! Even my picky 2 year old who never eats ate his chicken tenders and fries! Price was very reasonable. I met the owner and she was lovely, definitely will go back if we're ever in the area! If you're local, you definitely need to check it out!
